Unhappy with your item? We will accept returns as long as they are in as-new unused condition up to one week after purchase, with the buyer organising & paying all shipping costs.

If your item is broken on arrival or has a crack etc please let us know with a photo within 48 hours of receipt and we will replace or refund all relevant costs at the buyer's discretion.

If an item fails due to the materials used e.g. checking we will replace or refund.

Glass is fragile - please be careful! We will not accept return of items damaged through negligence e.g. dropping, scratching, sitting on it etc.

Customs:

Custom orders may take some time to complete depending on our current work load. They require a 50% deposit up-front to start work.

This is non-refundable if;

1) You change your mind

2) You can't pay the second half

Please do think carefully about what you want. You can expect your custom work to be fully functional and free from poor workmanship or materials.

We will refund your deposit if we can't complete your order for any reason on our end - making things in glass is not always successful, things break, equipment might go down etc.

Caring for Sandblasted Glass:

Sandblasted glass feels silky smooth to the touch, but is rough on a microscopic scale. Without treatment, a freshly blasted surface will pick up stains from the environment, such as fingerprints. Our sandblasted glass is finished with New Zealand beeswax to seal the surface, meaning it won't pick up fingerprints and will repel water and water based stains.

However as the surface both rough and hard it can abrade metals like a fine sandpaper and leave marks on the glass, so please avoid letting the glass rub against metal e.g. keys in your pocket.

The best way we have found to clean sandblasted glass is with a 'Magic Eraser" dry cleaning sponge or microfibre cloth. Warm soapy water may also be used.

Ethanol and acetone may penetrate the beeswax coating when warm or with extended contact. Use these only at your own risk.

Citrus based cleaners do change the appearance slightly and so should be avoided.

Caring for ground glass joints (GONG fittings):

Ground glass joints can become stuck if they are forced or twisted together, or if they are left assembled for extended periods of time.

To avoid this, keep joints clean, dry them when not in use and do not force them into place – just sitting the joints together should provide a sufficiently tight seal.

To prevent a joint becoming stuck due to being stored in place, a small slip of paper can be left in the joint. If desired, joints can also be lubricated with a minimal amount of Vaseline.

If your joint becomes stuck, contact us or Google for advice.
